Drenory Renaissance Faire at Ravenshire

We are so excited you are interested in being a Stage Performer for our faire. Here are some things you'll need to know.

  1. We are looking for performers with a stage show. These performers should fit well with the Renaissance theme.
  2. We are asking for two 25-30 minute stage performances along with an approximate 10 minute performance during PubSing.
  3. The area where the faire will be held is down a hill. If you have props, equipment, or other items you will need for your show and you don't have a vehicle that can traverse it, we are happy to assist you.
  4. This a small faire on our property. We hope to have somewhere between 100-120 patrons, but there is no guarantee on how many will attend.
  5. With this being a small faire, our budget is very limited. We ask that you let us know how much you would like to be compensated for your time with us and we will do our best to accomodate you. You may collect tips and you're encouraged to do so. You are also welcome to sell merchandise.
  6. Stage performers are welcome to use designated areas of our home for costume changes, to use the restroom, or to relax. Stage performers will also receive a free meal ticket and have access to water.
  7. Stage performers must carry their own insurance.
  8. Stage performers must agree to the items drawn out in their contract.
  9. Stage performers must agree to the waiver included in the application.

I hereby RELEASE, WAIVE, DISCHARGE, and COVENANT NOT TO SUE Gregory P. Drenovas, Julie A. Brant, or their family, representatives, vendors or any participating associates in this event (hereinafter referred to as RELEASEES) from any and all liability claims, demands, actions and causes of action whatsoever arising out of or related to any losses, damage, or injury including death that may be sustained by me, or to any property belonging to me, WHETHER CAUSED BY THE NEGLIGENCE OF THE RELEASEES, or otherwise, while participating in such activities, or while traveling to or from, in, on, or upon the premises where the activity is being conducted. I have the prerequisite skills qualifications, preparations, and training to participate in the activity in a safe and competent manner; and, I acknowledge that the RELEASEES have relied upon this representation in allowing me to participate in this activity. I agree to participate and abide by the rules and regulations set forth by the RELEASEES for this event. Any questions that I have had concerning participation in this activity have been fully answered. I VOLUNTARILY ASSUME FULL RESPONSIBILITY FOR ANY RISKS OR LOSS OF PROPERTY DAMAGE OR PERSONAL INJURY, INCLUDING DEATH, that may be sustained by me, or any loss or damage to property owned by me, as a result of being engaged in such activity. I further hereby AGREE TO INDEMNIFY AND HOLD HARMLESS THE RELEASEES from any loss, liability, damage, or costs, including court and attorney fees, that I may incur due to my participation in said activity, WHETHER CAUSED BY NEGLIGENCE OR OTHERWISE. It is my express intent that this Release and Hold Harmless Agreement shall bind the members of my family and spouse if I am alive and my heirs, assigns, and personal representative, if I am deceased, and shall be deemed as a RELEASE, WAIVER, DISCHARGE AND COVENANT NOT TO SUE the above-named RELEASEES. IN SIGNING THIS RELEASE, VIA SUBMISSION THROUGH THE STAGE ENTERTAINER APPLICATION, I ACKNOWLEDGE AND REPRESENT THAT I have read the foregoing Waiver of Liability and Hold Harmless Agreement, understand it, and sign it voluntarily as my own free act and deed and based upon no representation that is not contained herein. I execute this Release for full, adequate and complete consideration fully intending to be bound by the same.
